Aging

Fenway Health: Boston-based LGBT Aging Project. Community meals, bereavement and caregiver support groups.
SAGE: Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE). NYC programs and services, National Resource Center on LGBT Aging.


Civil Rights

Human Rights Campaign: Local and national legislative and political information, coming out.
TaskForce.org: National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. News, issues, and actions you can take to make change.


Education

GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) now called glisten: Anti-bullying and LGBT resources for schools.
Point Foundation: The LGBTQ+ and ally scholarship fund :Supporting 1,000 Scholars. Helping LGBTQ+ and ally students shape the future for more than 20 years.
Out To Innovate (scholarship program): The Out to Innovate™ Scholarships, established in 2011, are intended for LGBTQ+ undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) programs.
OutHistory: OutHistory is a public history website that aims to generate, present, and promote high-quality evidence-based LGBTQ historical research for LGBTQ and general audiences.


Families

PFLAG: Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. Support for parents, families, allies.
Family Equality Council: The Family Equality Council organizes annual Family Week in Provincetown. Info on marriage, federal entitlements, etc.

AAC: Since 1988, AIDS Action’s Health Library has provided reliable and up-to-date information about HIV treatment and wellness

Legal

GLAD: Boston-based Legal Advocates and Defenders. Legal information by state, lawyer referral service

Lambda Legal: The Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc. (“Lambda Legal”) based in New York, is a national organization working to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV, through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
