Provincetown Book Festival

  • Provincetown Public Library 356 Commercial Street Provincetown, MA, 02657 United States (map)

The 2026 Provincetown Book Festival, scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 25 – 27, is ready for you to make reservations for free attendance! Just go to provincetownbookfestival.org, for information and links to tickets. Choose from twelve great programs, with best-selling authors like Ibram X. Kendi (How to Be an Anti-Racist) and Harriet Lillith Assadi (Paradiso 17), as well as authors like Catherine Newman (Sandwich, Wreck) and Russ Lopez (The Provincetown Stories). All programs are at the Provincetown Library.

Also, volunteers are needed for the Provincetown Book Festival -- at the Firehouse in September selling T-shirts and distributing flyers and brochures; or at the Festival itself, held at the Provincetown Library. If you are available to work at the Firehouse in advance, or at the Festival checking registration and selling Tshirts, contact Leslie, ptbfvolunteers@gmail.com. If you want to set up and sell books at the book sale on the library lawn, contact Library Director Amy Raff at araff@clamsnet.org.

The Provincetown Book Festival is supported in part by the Friends of the Provincetown Library, the Massachusetts Center for the Book, the Massachusetts Cultural Council/Provincetown Cultural Council, and the Provincetown Tourism Fund.
