Nettles: an Ode to Urtica dioica with Nicole Cormier of Delicious Living Nutrition

  • Provincetown Public Library 356 Commercial Street Provincetown, MA, 02657 United States (map)

Join Nicole Cormier of Delicious Living Nutrition for an introduction to nettles - Nettles (genus Urtica) are common, herbaceous plants known for their stinging hairs, which inject irritating chemicals upon contact, but are also highly nutritious and used for food, medicine, and fiber.

Nicole will walk us through the way nettles can be a source of renewal, mineral replenishment, gentle detox, and awakening the body and why nettles are a quintessential spring tonic for energetics (liver, movement, clearing stagnation). Learn how to identify and forage for nettles as well as how to ingest nettles for their medicinal purposes.

Bundles for tea will be available for take home.
