Provincetown-based singer-songwriters Grant King and Peter Donnelly will give a free, acoustic, double-bill concert on Saturday, November 14th, 2026, 2:00 pm at the Provincetown Public Library.
As Part 6 of the popular songwriters-in-concert series “Songs I Wish I’d Written!”, he curates, King is pleased to feature his special musical guest, Peter Donnelly.
King began this monthly music series at the Library in March 2026 to champion both established and lesser-known local performing songwriters.
Donnelly has been writing folk-pop songs for many years. Perhaps best-known for creating the winter weekly series, Coffeehouse at the Mews with owner Ron Robin, Peter will celebrate his 36th year of the popular open mic this winter. The summer outdoors music series he founded and curated are popular with townies and tourists alike: Sunset Music on the Beach (at Herring Cove), and the summertime Music on the Hill (at the Pilgrim Monument). His ongoing duo act with Jon Richardson (notably their Dolly Parton and Simon & Garfunkel tribute concerts) always draws appreciative crowds.
King will sing cover songs by songwriters he admires, as well as his original songs, accompanied by his guitar. He has performed to enthusiastic audiences in local venues and throughout the Northeast.
